Le Grange's Noa From Goa goes Big Gun in Singapore

Noah From Goa lead an almost gun to tape race for a smart win at Kranji today.

The Grade 1 winner in SA was shipped from Mike De Kock's Dubai stable to Ricardo Le Grange in Singapore to continue his career

He won for the South African who took over from Pat Shaw last year. Mary Slack's export won the Cape Guineas in South Africa and the son of Tiger Ridge is going places in Singapore and will likely be aimed at bigger events. This was only his second start for Le Grange.

"He's not an easy horse, a quirky horse he needs a pony. Onwards and upwards from her. Second run off a layoff giving eight to the field. A decent win," said Le Grange in a post race interview.

"It's a fantastic family to train for. And to train for these colours is is honour," continued Le Grange.

Noa From Goa dictated a slow pace from the front and was stoked up only late on to concentrate as he kicked clear never in danger. The smart sort was expertly ridden by Nooresh Juglall. The race was worth 125000 Singapore dollars. He was worked up pre-race and drifted from 17/10 to 33/10 at the off as late support came for his rivals including last start winner, Makanani.
