Some of South African racing's best make their seasonal reappearances today at Kenilworth and Turffontein, day and night racing respectively. Kenilworth is interestingly comingling with France for the first three races whilst Turffontein is comingling the entire meeting which will entire huge tote pools. 

The multiple horse of the year Legal Eagle makes his seasonal bow in a Pinnacle Stakes race over a distance presumed to be short of his best at 1160m against Mercury Sprint winner, Will Pays and Grade 1 star Pinnacle Peak. Others running against the Mile champion include another Grade 1 winner Talktothestars and recent Grand Heritage winner, Tsitsikamma Dance.

In the Victory Moon Stakes sees Like A Panther, a top sort from De Kock yard, feature along with last seasons star three year old on the Highveld, Takingthepeace.

In Kenilworth, Horse of the Year, Oh Susanna makes her reappearance along with arch rival Lady In Black, the top Dennis Drier runner.
