Anton Marcus is the ultimate professional, from form study to fitness he leaves no stone unturned to get his horses over the line.

It's not as easy as that, the hardworking Marcus usually rides the better horses or form horses in a race and they end up as favourites, sometimes legitimately and sometimes as false favourites as his fans pile their cash onto 'Superman'.

If those fans had done just that this weekend, they would have most likely come home with the lions share of the pot as Anton Marcus rode home seven winners in two days spanning the two coasts of the country.

He rode home the classy One World and another star, Cirillo at Kenilworth on Saturday. He then flew to Durban and booted home another 5 winners on the Greyville card giving him a surreal weekend of racing.

Marcus was also aboard Legal Eagle two weeks back when his near last to first antics had the crowd grasping for collective breath as he powered the star miler home in a sprint race against the best in the land.
