Gavin Lerena is off the plum ride on Rainbow Bridge in the Champions up at Greyville on Gold Cup day.

Lerena is retained to ride for Wilgerbosdrift and Mauritzfontein, hence is on the highly regarded Buffalo Bill Cody.

Richard Fourie, who has ridden Rainbow Bridge before, is on the Sands runner. Do It Again, whom Fourie rode to July victory, won't be seen in Kzn again.
