Keagan De Melo fell at the 200m mark just when making his run on Race 6 at Scottsville today. 

His horse, Silent Crusade, looked like she pecked and she lost her balance and the jockey fell head first. He was then run over by another horse. Silent Crusade looked like the winner at that point and the unfortunate incident wasn't nice to see. 

De Melo went hospital for scans and seems to have no broken bones. Lucky escape!
