Following a gallop and track inspection by NHA, Jockeys, trainers and PGL track officials, the meeting at the Vaal today has been abandoned due to unsafe and inconsistent underfoot conditions - a further 5mm rain was recorded overnight on top of the 50mm recorded over the past couple of days, with significant further rain forecast through the day. The Grand Heritage and Grand Heritage Consolation will be moved to Thurs 19 December at the Vaal and the Sophomore to Sat 14 December at Turffontein.
