The world famous South African Jockey Academy has announced a shocking move as Racing uncertainty continues in South Africa... 

"It is with a heavy heart that we have had to suspend all new intakes of apprentices (both international and local) at the SA Jockey Academy with immediate effect.

With the current climate being so uncertain and racing in South Africa in a limited and tenuous position we are unfortunately unable to say when we will be opening apprenticeships again. Until further notice there will be no new intake in 2021.

We apologise for the disappointment you will certainly be feeling but assure you that as soon as we are able to start training new apprentices again - we WILL!!!" SA Jockey Academy Team.
