GR. 1 Woolavington: Summer Pudding remains Unbeaten and how?

Summer Pudding extended her unbeaten run when winning the Woolavington Grade 1 at Greyville in what can be described as a breathtaking run especially in the home straight as she looked dead and buried.

The smart three year old did the very same in her previous race, seemed disinterested until the penny dropped in they home straight and late on as well. It's amazing that she kept her unbeaten record when all looked lost but she picked them up one by one and surprisingly won easier than expected. These were some of the better if not best 3 year old fillies in the land and she did her owners proud at a ghost Greyville, due to the lockdown. One of the key races of the Winter season, it is a real feather in the cap to grab this win as its as prestigious as one gets in the country.

Paul Peter was lost for words. "She special doesn't know how get beat. Saw them and fetched them."

"She never through the towel in the towel and I was under pressure but I knew there may be something to come. Unbelievable I am lost for words. She will have a nice rest at Mauritzfontein now."

Warren Kennedy was equally impressed, "The way the tracks been running the plan to have her closer than usual. She never travelled, just off the but I was that's her and when I pulled her outside and once she got sights on the leader there was no seconds. In a bun fight she won't get beat. 7 out of 7 the best 3 years filly in the country."

Summer Pudding goes to Mauritzfontein, her owners Stud for a rest and no plans have been revealed after than. She was never nominated for the Durban July and this was her ultimate prize, the best 3 year old filly race in the country.
