Summer Pudding has been withdrawn (and subsequently retired) from Saturday's big world pool raceday at Greyville.

The star galloper reportedly didn't travel well to Durban and was withdrawn from the Gold Bracelet. She had lost a bit of her form in her latest event when a well beaten 4th in the Premiers Champions Challenge at Turffontein behind Got The Greenlight. She will retire to her owners farm Mauritzfontein Stud. The owners have just purchased the highly rated Japanese stallion Danon Platino and it would be foolish man to bet against her going to him first up.
