Charity Mile has a new sponsor

Phumelela is delighted to announce that Allied Steelrode have been confirmed as the new sponsor of the Charity Mile. This important Grade 2 event, to be run over 1600m at Turffontein on Saturday 30 October, will be known as the Allied Steelrode - OnamissionMile.

 

On the back of this exciting new sponsorship, the stake of this years race has been increased from R400,000 to R800,000.

First entries for the Allied Steelrode - OnamissionMile (Gr2) close at 11am on Monday 18 October.

It should be a cracking days racing with a 10-race card headed by the Allied Steelrode OnamissionMile (Gr2) and 5 other feature races. It will also be the first meeting back on the standside track following its annual spring treatment” said Phumelela Racing Executive Patrick Davis.
