Elite Bloodlines Headline ARQANA's Landmark August Sale

The strength of the ARQANA August Sale catalogue has been underlined by another exceptional season on the racecourse, with graduates continuing to make their mark at the highest level around the world. As the auction celebrates the 20th anniversary of ARQANA's creation, this year's catalogue brings together 325 carefully selected yearlings featuring some of the most sought-after pedigrees in international breeding.

The sale will be staged in Deauville across three sessions, beginning on Saturday, August 15, at 5:30pm, continuing on Sunday, August 16, at 5:30pm, before concluding on Monday, August 17, from 11:00am.

Racecourse Success Strengthens Catalogue

This year's catalogue has been boosted by the performances of recent graduates, headed by Classic heroine Diamond Necklace. After winning the Prix Marcel Boussac (Gr.1) as a juvenile, she returned this season to complete a French Classic double in the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (French 1,000 Guineas) and the Prix de Diane (Gr.1). Buyers will have the opportunity to secure her close relation, with her half-brother catalogued as Lot 128.

Prix du Jockey Club (Gr.1) winner Constitution River is another headline graduate, with his half-sister entered as Lot 287. The catalogue also includes close relatives of other recent top-level performers, including Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (Gr.1) winner Balantina and Jebel Hatta (Gr.1) winner Opera Ballo, who also finished third in the Queen Anne Stakes (Gr.1) at Royal Ascot.

Leading Stallions Well Represented

The sale features progeny by many of the world's leading stallions, including Blue Point, Camelot, Frankel, Justify, Kingman, Lope de Vega, Mehmas, New Bay, Night Of Thunder, No Nay Never, Not This Time, Sea The Stars, Siyouni, Starspangledbanner, Too Darn Hot, Wootton Bassett and Zarak.

Buyers will also gain early access to the first crops of several exciting young sires, including Ace Impact, Chaldean, Erevann, Good Guess, Little Big Bear, Mishriff, Modern Games, Mostahdaf, Onesto, Paddington and Vadeni.
