The European Horse of the Year was outstanding this year and achieved a rating of 135 while the prize mare in the U.S, Zenyatta was equally impressive this year in terms of her wins and unbeaten status. She was ranked 4th best on 128.
South African bred Pocket Power (pictured) was rated at 121 rated 26th best in the world and he was the only South African in the top 50.
