RACE 1:Maiden Juvenile Plate 1200m Bend

The first timer AUDACITY could be worth following. PINBALL WIZARD made a decent debut and should improve on that run. Three other first timers to consider are PEREGRINE POWER, KING FAHIEM and VIKING EMPIRE.

RACE 2:Maiden Plate 2400m Bend

TUCANA is very consistent and has placed this C & D. He looks to be better than the rest of the horses in this field. HAVANA GAS has some fair form and can challenge. SEVENTY SIX has claims on his latest effort when running on strongly to finish fourth, less than a length behind Heaven. EAST SUSSEX is never that far behind. The blinkers may help his cAUS

e. SEPTIMUS SEVERUS tries this distance for the first time. Should suit.

RACE 3:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1600m Bend

WEST WACKER has very good maiden form but has disappointed on too numerous an occasion. She will be running on and should be considered again. LAMARR has been fairly consistent but has more to show to win. PLAUGELESS has claims on an improved latest effort.  JULLIARD may improve further on her latest slightly improved run. KIWI STAR was running on last time when running her best run to date.

RACE 4:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1600m Bend

FOXTROT BABY ran on strongly last time when showing good improvement over her maiden run. FIERY MOON ran a very close up third last time and should have claims on that run. GOLDEN NATION may be coming to hand. MISS MAYHEM is never too far behind and has steady form. Can place. GOVANI has moderate form but should begin improving one of these days.

RACE 5:Novice Plate (F & M) 1600m Bend

NALEDI runs best this distance and stayed on well last time. SOUND OF SILENCE is the form horse of the field. The extra distance should suit.  MISS PINK did not show in the Fillies Guineas last time but this should be much easier. Chance in this field. RESPECTABLE LADY has fair post maiden form. Tries this distance for the first time. Watch! WE THREE may need to confirm her maiden win last time. She did win by five lengths, however.

RACE 6:MR 72 Hcp (F & M) 1000m Bend

VELVET CLOCK is back to her favourite C & D. She has not run here for many months and could be upset material back at this track. Trainer Mike Stewart in good form. BARILOCHE is also C & D suited and will be running on. LA DAZZLE has the blinkers fitted today. Runs on well but has been racing over further. Still looks good for places at least. The other Mike Stewart trained mare, RED POPPY has been improving slowly and shows good pace. MAGNOLIA MUSK is never far back and the blinkers go on her too today. Another to be watched.

RACE 7:MR 76 Hcp 1400m Bend

PEACAN STREAM nears his fiftieth start and has only won twice. He does not have the best of form but watch at Durbanville. He could surprise in this weak field. FIRE 'N ICE is holding form and does run on really well. Look for another good run. BEAU DE JOUR has faced stronger, but needs to find more.  CAPTAIN'S CHEER has only won once and that was at his only start at this track. COOL ZONE had to work hard to record his second career win last time at the track. Can repeat.

RACE 8:MR 88 Hcp 1400m Bend

CREE LODGE has been running in some good features. He has the class to win and made a good course debut last time when running on well after a slow start. The one to beat. LION IN WINTER has the form to make a race of it. Runs on well and should improve even further. VLIEGENDEHOLLANDER has also faced far stronger. One to consider to be a strong contender. VITAL MATCH is currently in good form and will be running on. OPEN GULCH looks ready to show improvement.

RACE 9:Maiden Plate 1600m Bend

SNIPER is improving with each run. Any further improvement will see him win. Runs on. WESTERN COUNT has steady form and should be in the shake up. NOORDHOEK HERO has had two good runs and has a good shout.  HERALDRY can find a place at least along with EASTERN COLOURS who also looks likely to improve and their maiden wins should not bee too far away.
