RACE 1:Maiden Plate 1000m Straight

VILNIUS has the form good enough to win. Had good form in both Cape Town and PE. AIR CHIEF is never far back and has good form. Has a good shout. SHE'S GOT GEARS ran her best run last time. Chance on that. TISIMSELF is speedy but fades late. Could benefit from an apprentice claim of 4kg. SUNNE IN SPLENDOR has only placed over 1000m. The blinkers go on. Watch!

RACE 2:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1600m Bend

CUBAN CORAL ran on when have her best run to date last time. Good chance. FAUSTINA has improved in her last two starts. POLAR JET needs to find more late but the balance of the field have much more to find. NIGHT STYLE improved by eleven lengths last time when running on. Watch! FAIRY LANTERN has not shown much to date. may improve over this distance.

RACE 3:MR 71 Hcp 1800m Bend

SYDNEY'S GIFT has been running well in recent times. Should have a very good chance back in a handicap. EMBLEM PARK could be most effective this course. POULNABRONE is in good form. Only wins have been this track. ECCLESIASTIC has been improving slowly. KWELA-KWELA did not show over this distance last time but should be given another chance.

RACE 4:MR 90 Hcp 1800m Bend

SAVANAH PARK has shown good improvement in his last two when running on. Chance on improved form. REFINED IN FIRE has run second in his last three starts. Will be finding extra late. DE LA DANZA has been consistent and should not be ignored. Has been running on. GIN AND TONIC is never far back. Only wins have been over the distance at Fairview. SPELLCASTER showed a good return to form last time.

FLAMING DAME returns to PE and may be coming to hand. Has been up against stronger. ROZELANA is the form horse of the race and is C & D suited. INCA'S SPIRIT did not show in a feature at Kenilworth last time. Chance on previous form. ROYAL WAGER is never far back. EVANGELICA showed improvement last time.

RACE 6:Breeders Guineas Plate (R70 000) 1400m Bend

IRISH MAID ran on very well to win at this track over 1300m last time. Every chance of repeating. SKIP WEST makes her PE debut. Did not show in a competitive race at Kenilworth last time. DREAMING BEAUTY has good form and is never too far back. Chance on good form. CASHMERE MAFIA should be right there. CAN DO is never far back. Was unlucky when finishing third last time, only a length back. Can make amends.

HURRICAN KATRINA loves this track and is unbeaten over 1400m (2 from 2). The one to beat. ILLUMIERE has faced stronger. Has won this C & D and finds more late. BREEZE BAR will benefit from an apprentice claim of 4kg. Sets a good pace and could hold on. MAIN MIRACLE did not show in a feature last time. Chance back in this type of field. LUNAR LEE has consistent form. Was running on last time.

FORENZIC loves this track and ran on well to win over 1300m here last time. MILLION MILES is never far back. Chance in this weak field. FIFTY SCENT is never far back. BLACK THUNDER has not shown recently but could improve in this field. THE BERRYMAN did not show against slightly last time. Money chance at best.
