WILMINGTON (Justin Snaith/Richard Fourie) has steady form and in Cape Town. Should improve in PE. WAY CLEAR (Alan Greeff/MJ Byleveld) showed improvement last time. Chance. BIG RED was slow away last time and lacked finish. May improve. TATTOO makes his debut. Watch the betting. OH SO EASY improved by eleven lengths last time. Respect.

FAIRY LANTERN has been improving and her last two runs showed that she could go close to winning soon. SPEEDY GONE DANTE is never too far back. Watch for improvement. SORRENTO has had her problems but can earn in this weak maiden plate for fillies. DIVA TAAHIRAH could be an improver in a race such as this. MOVINGANDGROOVING (Justin Snaith/JP Van Der Merwe) has improved in her last two starts. Is drawn wide.

NOAH FOREVER has been drawn wide in most of his starts. Still runs on well and should go close again this afternoon. Runs well this C & D. BRIGHT APPROVAL (Alan Greeff/MJ Byleveld) was running on late last time. Chance if repeating that effort. TEXAS LEATHER (Justin Snaith/Richard Fourie) has improved since moving from Gauteng. Chance this field. AL-JAZAIR showed good improvement last time. Money chance. ICE DRIFT could also be improving.

JET BURST (Justin Snaith/Richard Fourie) ran on well to win comfortably last time over this C & D. That was his first run in PE. Every chance of repeating. BREEZE BAR (Yvette Bremner/Karis Teetan) can never be ignored even though he has won only once in twenty four starts. PARCEVAL is not too consistent. Chance on best form to date. BEAST OF BURDEN must not be ignored. SUPREME STRIKE did not show last time. Has claims on a win this C & D.

OZZIE DUDE ran on very strongly last time to finish less than two lengths back in third despite losing four lengths at the start. Drops in class. UMHLABA has excellent form this C & D and on that must have a winning chance. SHUJAA runs best at this track. ROYAL TREASURE (Justin Snaith/Richard Fourie) returns after a three month break. May race fresh. MILLION MILES (Alan Greeff/MJ Byleveld) is never too far back.

FLAMING DAME (Justin Snaith/Richard Fourie) has a chance if running on which she has not done for two races. Has won this C & D. Good chance. WATER NYMPH ran her best race in a while last time when running on strongly. Good chance with 52kg on her back. INCA'S SPIRIT showed a return to form last time when running on well. Do not ignore. GILMORE GIRL is not one on which to rely. Money chance on best form earlier on in her career. ILLUMIERE could have a chance if handling the 61kg she has to carry.

A BOY NAMED SUE (Joey Ramsden) has placed second over the distance. Has proved that she is capable of holding on if setting the pace. Stable companion, CROWN OF GOLD (JP Van Der Merwe) has very good form and is still capable of further improvement. TRIBAL DANCE (Vaughan Marshall/MJ Byleveld) just failed to catch VARIETY CLUB in the Cape Winter Guineas at Kenilworth last time. First time this far. Definite chance if staying this distance. WHY WORRY (Justin Snaith/Richard Fourie) has good form but against quite a bit weaker. Back jockey/trainer combination rather. INDIAN HAWK stayed on in the Derby Plate over 2000m last time. Consider.

APOLO GREY (Justin Snaith/Richard Fourie) drops in class but has a massive 64kg to carry. Chance if handling this mass. Ran on strongly to win a feature this C & D. Loves this C & D. FINANCE MINISTER (Alan Greeff/MJ Byleveld) is holding form well and one can expect a good run from him. BERMUDA PRINCE is very speedy and his last two runs against weaker were good. Respect with an apprentice claim of 2.5hf off 55.5kg. JELLA LOOCHEE has steady form this C & D where he has a 50% win rate. Still improving. OXFORD DON (Yvette Bremner/Karis Teetan) held on well to win over 1200m last time. Is also a C & D winner.

Has won this C & D and will more than likely be running on late. LA PUCELLE improved by over thirteen lengths last time. Respect on that improvement. JUNGLE RULER (Yvette Bremner/Karis Teetan) has not won in a long while but he has dropped quite a bit in class. DERBAAS raced well in his previous two starts. Money chance.
