RACE 1:Maiden Juvenile Plate 1300m Bend

DUBAI DIZZY (Mike De Kock/Anthony Delpech) makes his debut. Is well bred. Watch the betting. LINDEMAN LEGACY (Charles Laird/Anton Marcus) also makes his debut. Again the betting should be your best guide. STORM DANCER has been improving steadily with each of his four starts. Should improve even further. ANDREAS (Dennis Drier/Sean Cormack) has also been showing improvement. The blinkers go on for the first time. LUCKY COLOUR (Gavin Van Zyl) made a fair debut last time. Scope for improvement.

RACE 2:Maiden Juvenile Plate (F) 1300m Bend

COPY CAT (Dennis Drier/Sean Cormack) has had three good runs to date. Stays on well and should win her maiden quite soon. RIGHTLY SO (Mike De Kock/Anthony Delpech) makes her debut. Is well bred. Watch the betting. Stable companion, PURE MALT also makes her debut. Has an apprentice claiming 4kg and is well bred. LONDON OLYMPICS improved nicely in her last two.  Added bonus of Anton Marcus aboard. MEET ME HALFWAY (Gavin Van Zyl) is another first timer worth being considered.

RACE 3:Maiden Plate 1000m Bend

VAR LIGHT (Sean Tarry/Anthony Delpech) has the form to go close in this field. Has placed twice over the distance. Is speedy and could be difficult to catch. BIG CAT DIARY (Glen Puller/Anton Marcus) is a bit inconsistent. Of concern though is the fact that he has yet to show on the two occasions when Anton Marcus has ridden him. LUCKY VALENTINE improved in his second start last time. One to consider for the places. CLEAR FOR TAKE OFF will need to find more than his debut run last time. May improve. LAMPADUSA makes his debut. Watch the betting. Stable off form.

RACE 4:Maiden Plate 1300m Bend

SERVICE OF SILENCE (Dennis Drier/Sean Cormack) has good form. Has run twice and in each has been green. Will win when he learns what racing is all about. BLUSHING PETER (Sean Tarry/Anthony Delpech) improved by eight lengths last time. That was his best start to date, also his first at this track and also the first in which he set the pace up front. Those tactics could work for him again this evening. LEGEND DANCER did not show on debut last time. Should improve on that run. BLACK PLATINUM is C & D suited and could be improving, again. This is his fifteenth start! IMPERIAL JET is a son of Jet Master making his debut. Watch!

RACE 5:MR 74 Hcp 1300m Bend

UPITY ANN is never far back and was running on smartly when finishing a close up third. Definite chance on that run. EXCEPTIONAL DREAMS (Sean Tarry/Anthony Delpech) was also running on strongly last time when finishing second, half a length behind ASPERITAS. CREATIVE STRIPE won his maiden with authority last time. Can repeat. The blinkers go on and Anton Marcus, who rode him last time, rides him again tonight. COUNT THE MUSIC (Joey Ramsden/Bernard Fayd'Herbe) did not show when slow away last time. Had good form before that and should not be left out. Has placed this C & D. SILVER EAGLE (Pat Lunn) runs for the fortieth time for only one win. Is never far back. Respect as the yard is in terrific form and Donovan Dillon claims 2½kg.

RACE 6:MR 72 Hcp 2000m Bend

GANDOLF THE GREAT has been running well against similar company this past year. Anthony Delpech rides and he should be a factor once again. Has won and placed this C & D and will be running on. BOLD AL (Gavin Van Zyl/Anton Marcus) is invariably slow to start but can feature in a race such as this. RUN AMOK has not won in ages but form is respectable. LIBERTY ISLAND may improve with the blinkers. HUNT THE JESTER was badly interfered with late on last time. Is well weighted to go close.

RACE 7:MR 89 Hcp (F & M) 1400m Bend

WEST END will be running on and her last two starts have both been full of merit. Anton Marcus rides for the first time. Consider a leading contender. JETER (Charles Laird/Anthony Delpech) is C & D suited and is never far back. Interesting to note that Anton Marcus rides for Jeff Freedman and not Charles Laird and Ingrid and Marcus Jooste in this race although Anthony Delpech has ridden her a good few times recently. SHE'S A DIME (Yogas Govender) is unbeaten this C & D (3 from 3). Jockey is off form though even though he has won on him before. Will be running on. ARTISTICALLY DONE will be running on but invariably runs into trouble late. Stable companion LANGOUSTIER has a chance if at best.

RACE 8:MR 73 Hcp (F & M) 1400m Straight

PUT THE KETTLE ON (Dennis Drier/Sean Cormack) has decent post maiden form. Won her maiden this C & D. Should go close over the slightly shorter trip. DRUMADOON appears to be coming back to form and Anthony Delpech gets aboard for the first time. WOODEN GOLD has gone close in her last two starts. An apprentice claim of 4kg should suit. LILY OF ST PIERRE (Mike De Kock/Muzi Yeni) ran a fair post maiden last time despite losing a length at the start. Scope for further improvement. SWEET CHARITY (Dean Kannemeyer/Raymond Danielson) is a bit off form but could be running along Musgrave Road with the draw. Chance if running on, even from the widest draw.
