PREVIEW: FAIRVIEW (POLYTRACK) - 25 APRIL 2014

Please be advised that the Fairview Turf racemeeting scheduled for Friday 25th April 2014 has been move to the Polytrack.
Race 3 will now be run over 2200m.

GREY BERET has been consistent and should be involved at the finish. Will be running on. MORNING NEWS and JUDGE JUDY make their debuts. Keep an eye out on the betting. BILLY RED tends to weaken over slightly further. May improve over this trip. ANGEL OF MINE also makes her debut.

ROSEY PEG ran for the first time in PE last time after a fair string of runs in Cape Town. Could improve further. FOREST NYMPH ran her best race in nine last time. Respect. PAX AFRICANA also showed improvement last time and was running on. MOUCHA GASOLINA has been giving honest efforts of late and could pick up her maiden win soon. KEYNOTE ran on in her second run last time despite being green and slow away.

LORD TRAFALGAR has impressive recent form but tends to be slow away. Does run on however. Should go close. LADY BIZHUB could be improving again. IRISH HALL did get going late last time. POWER WIND has steady form in his last two runs. Will be able to improve further. HIGH SPIRITED could improved on his latest improved run.

FOREST DIGGER is in good form and ran on strongly to win last time over shorter. CROWN OF GOLD ran on strongly for second in the same race. At the weights should still finish behind FOREST DIGGER. VITAL MATCH hasn't won in quite a while. Was baulked in the straight last time when going well. PINOTAGE PETE made a fair PE debut last time. Money chance. DRUMMINOR has the ability and could cause an upset.

POLITICAL PLAYBOY finishes very strongly despite losing a few lengths at the start. Should go very close. SUETAN also runs on well despite some tardy starts recently. Loves the Polytrack. BLAZE OF FIRE has fair form but has yet to race on the polytrack. WAY CLEAR can never be ignored. Form good enough to challenge in this race. Ihnore the run of INDIAN HAWK  last time. He is better than that run. Good form before that.

KIRKBY NINJA has been improving again and finished his last race strongly. SWEDISH KING runs on but may battle this journey. BLACK PEGASUS ran well before his latest in a small feature. CINDERFELLA is never far back and will be running on. KING OF INDIANS did not show against stronger last time. Had fair form before that.

SHINGWEDZI has the form both on the polytrack and in Cape Town to win this one. Will be running on. Hard to beat. SHE'S A PIPPA has faced stronger and showed a welcome return to form last time. SKYSIGN has good post maiden form and will be running on. ADO ANNIE will also be running on and form is good. BRIDE'S DOWRY ran well in the Oaks Plate last time. That was her post maiden run. Should improve further.

TETELESTAI has run well at this track and has shown good form since moving from KZN. Could be the one to beat. GUIDED ARROW loves the distance. Take on stronger but has only 51kg on her back. RANSOM OF CHOICE ran well to win his last two. Moves up in class. ICEFIRE will be running on. ALBARAKAH won well last time but takes on stronger this time.

EARTH'S ORBIT hasn't won since May last year. Showed a return to form when returning to PE last time. JOYFUL SPIRIT has raced against stronger in KZN. Do not leave out. I GOT YOU BABE weakens but is never too far back. STOWAWAY runs for the first time in PE. Formerly from the Mike De Kock yard. Should improve. SIMPLY UNCANNY is holding form well. Place chance.
