MITRAAD makes his debut. Well bred and is already ante post favourite. SCUDETTO featured well on debut last time when finishing well. Will have a say and experience could count. O'BRIEN, is another first timer. Son of SILVANO. Keep an eye on the betting. The son of WESTERN WINTER, BULLETING HOME, also makes his debut. PAWAN weakened on debut last time. Watch for improvement.

BAREGA has had three good runs from four starts. Was baulked last time. Can make amends. GEMSTONE GLAMOUR has run on for two close up seconds this C & D in both starts thus far. Will have a say. OBREGA was sent off as 4/10 favourite on debut last time. One to watch! HULLO LILY did not show last time after having made a fair debut two runs back. KITH AND KIN weakened last time after a fair debut run the run before that. Place chance.

MUSCATT runs his third race in KZN and also third run after a rest. Ran well against a similar field last time. Has raced against stronger, namely behind VIA AFRICA and NORMANZ. Form should be too strong in this race. ISLAND FIESTA is improving and the blinkers go on. LONDON CALL made a winning debut by over five lengths last time. May need to confirm and this will be somewhat stronger. JET ON FIRE may improve on a very moderate latest effort. BARBEL RUN runs for the third time after a lengthy break. May place.

COWBOY has been showing good progress in his last two. Should give another decent account of himself. Should be finishing well. ROYAL COLOURS has weakened in his last two starts. Is better than those two runs. Has finished second or third in more than 50% of his starts. SUPREME LEADER has more to find in this race and hasn't been in particularly good form. AMROTH BAY has been gradually losing form. The blinkers come off. SPORTING RIGHTS has very little to recommend him for the win.

GOLDEN HIGH showed good improvement against weaker last time. Has faced far stronger in some Gauteng feature races. CAPRICORN RIDGE is still improving and drops in class. Good chance. TRUE MASTER finished only 3.55 lengths behind FUTURA in the Betting World 1900 in May. On that run could have the beating of this field. Hasn't shown his true potential in the two ensuing runs. AUCTION KING will be running on and could upset. COUNTS ROCKET hasn't won in over a year but has been a consistent performer.

SPIN A COIN finished well last time. Should have a chance of winning this afternoon. Is coming back to form. Drops in class. BILLY BOY BLUES also drops in class but he hasn't run since early December. Apprentice claim should assist. Has placed second this C & D. TOP COMMAND disappointed last time after having shown decent form. Has changed stables since and is worth considering. PAX AETERNA can improve on a very good post maiden run last time. AFRICA normally sets a good pace but weakens. Could sneak a place.

RODEO SIOUX makes the 560km trip along the N3 for this race. Trainer's only runner on today's card. Has shown good form over slightly further but he wouldn't have made the trip had Joe Soma not given him an excellent chance. Will be finishing well. ENCHANTED SILK won by three lengths last time. That was an easy win and he too will be finding a good finish. STAR JET has won a KZN feature already this season. Champion trainer, Justin Snaith, could be in business with this four year old filly this afternoon. Will be running on. OMATICAYA has ability and a 3.35 beating by BEACH BEAUTY during the Cape Summer Season is worth remembering.

DIVA'S DAUGHTER may have won her latest start but for being badly baulked in the short straight on the Greyville polytrack. Has good form to make amends for that disappointment. HIJACKED won well on the polytrack last time. Will be finishing well. LUNA DA VICTORIA hasn't won in over a year but has been a consistent place - finder. Has been running on. One to watch! ORATOR'S DAUGHTER tries the blinkers for the first time. Has faced stronger in Gauteng features. Should go very close in a competitive feature race. LADY TATTY rises in class but has a light mass.

MACKDESI found a strong finish on debut last time despite losing ground at the start. Looks difficult to oppose if repeating. Takes on some older maidens. SHOW ME HEAVEN also lost ground at the start last time and finished well. EMBLEM ROYALE is inconsistent but has been finishing well. Lost six lengths at the start last time. MFUYI improved by six lengths in his second start last time. The blinkers go on. ROMAN ROCK raced wide in his second start last time. May improve.

WILL I DO stayed on when making a decent debut last time. Will have benefited from that initial run. CALIGARI CARNIVAL ran her best race in six last time when finishing well for the first time as well. Could be good value. FIRST ASSET has been holding form and has placed second this C & D. IMBUTA CASTRUM ran a decent race last time. Can finish somewhere in the money. LOCH LANG has improved marginally in her last two. Glen Hatt takes the ride.
