RACE 1

THIRTY TWO SQUADRON makes his debut. Keep an eye on the betting. MINT MASTER also makes his debut and is already short priced ante post favourite. Of those that have run, WAR REQUIEM, may challenge. CAPTAIN KING may improve on some fair form while HE ROCKS has shown some recent form.

RUMBULLION just failed to catch NISA'S MACHINE last time. Looks hard to oppose on that run. GREATEST HITS makes his debut. The sire, RIGHT APPROACH, has been producing frequent winners this season. IN THE TRENCHES has shown good form this C & D in both starts. MILITARY LEADER gave a good account of himself on debut last time. Watch! ELECTROSHOCK ran an improved run last time. Yard has been picking up winners regularly in KZN, Eastern Cape and Western Cape.

NATIONAL APPROVAL was returning from a short break last time. Will strip fitter this afternoon. Was backed last time. COLONEL BLING made a decent debut way back in March. Rested since. May race fresh. ALGHADEER is a well bred son of DYNASTY. Watch the betting. HASSEN'S BID improved by twenty two lengths in his second start last time. Jockey engagement is interesting. ITSLEKKER BRU improved by twenty five lengths in his second run last time. Respect.

RACE 4

JELLYLORUM almost pulled off an surprised win last time at 25/1. Good chance if finishing as well this afternoon. ZABRINA makes her KZN debut. Was improving slowly in Cape Town and may take to this surface. SHIKRA is improving but has had her problems. SWEET ORANGE is losing form. Claims on earlier better form. BERTHE runs wide but has lost form. Chance if recapturing earlier form.

RACE 5

MS BROOKS has misfortune in her penultimate but almost made amends last time. Should be ready to win her maiden this afternoon. ACADEMY PRINCESS did show some life last time. The problem is that top riders have ridden her in three races this far. SMOKETHATTHUNDERS is inconsistent but stayed on last time. HERA improved by eleven lengths in her second run last time. Place chance. ROYAL MUMSIE needs to find a better start.

RACE 6

TOO MUCH FUN has been running decent races and ran well at her penultimate with Anthony Delpech aboard. He has the ride again this afternoon. Could be worth a decent place bet. CLASSE MONDIALE won her maiden at the sixth attempt last time. Good maiden form before that. OFF RAMP won her maiden very easily last time by three lengths at the third attempt. Consider again if not needing to confirm. OLMA won her maiden by almost five lengths with Anton Marcus aboard. He takes the ride again. That was her third run. DUX has not run since February. Moderate post maiden run last time. Place chance if fit.

RACE 7

IMPERIAL FABERGE finished well to win last time this class and C & D. Could be ready to win again. PEJ won very easily at this track over 1200m last time. Good chance on that run. RICH GIRL has been racing against much stronger and could enjoy this field this afternoon. CHOIR MAIDEN is coming back to form. Don't ignore. BELOVED COUNTRY has won three from four. Last run in June and yet to race on this track.

RACE 8

LIBERTINE was not disgraced against stronger last time. Ran well that day and should have a say again this afternoon. JAY'S MAN has not been too far back in his last two but does weaken. ROY ROYALE has the form, but against weaker, to have a shout. Needs to find an even better finish. ROCKY BAY is hardly ever too far back and has been racing against slightly stronger. SON OF ORIMANDES improved with blinkers last time. They are on again this afternoon.

RACE 9

DIAMOND KING has been slow away but finishes well and has been racing in stronger company. HENCHMAN relished the new track last time. Ran on powerfully from way back to win last time. ACAPULCO got going late last time. Can feature. SACRED JEWEL is holding form well against weaker but with only 48kg to carry could be a threat. ROYAL ZULU GUARD has been slow to go but can finish well.

RACE 10

WHIMSICAL GAL has been showing steady improvement since making her debut three runs back. Should be right there. SHIVRANI finished well last time. Needs to repeat that effort. LOCH LANG has steady form and stayed on this track last time. PROPER POSH has her problems but did show some improvement last time. COCO LOVE runs for the twenty second time as a maiden. Needs a change of fortune.
