SAILABRATE did not have the best of run ins last time when looking to be a challenger on the line. Chance today. CALICO QUIVER was moderate for most of his debut last time. Got going late though and could pose a threat. AGAIN SAM makes his debut. Has a top class work rider aboard, MANZAI runs for the seventeenth time but did run on late last time. ENAAD ran on well to win his maiden last time. Even though that was his fifth run, he does look likely to improve. HYAKU is never far back but weakens late. UNPARALLELED won his maiden at the fifth attempt last time. That was an easy win. Respect. SUPER GLUE has not run since April. Won his maiden at the second try after a good maiden run the run before that. TRIPLE BEAT never showed last time after having had some fair form.

DOWN UNDER runs for the first time outside KZN. Has run on in two of his three starts. Should be right there. VICTORIOUS ROYAL will be running on and has placed a close up second this C & D. ELUSIVE FLYER has run on in both starts and finished much closer last time. GANICUS was also running on last time but may need to find more for the win. SCENT improved by forty lengths last time in his second start. Respect!

RACE 4

BLACKBERRY WINE has shown promise. Has run three times. All runs have been this track. Could prefer the extra. SOLDIER GIRL has steady form and must have a shout in this field. SENSE OF STYLE improved by ten lengths in her second start last time. Can get close. CAPE MARIGOLD disappointed on the sand last time. Appears to improve the turf where she ran her best run to date. PRINCESS MILO may improve on a moderate KZN debut.

7 ONE FINE DAY A 2 56.5 Mike de Kock Anthony Delpech
8 LAW ENFORCER A B 3 56.0 Leon Erasmus Ian Sturgeon

RACE 5

ONE FINE DAY will be running on strongly and has looked the likely winner in the three runs that he never won. Promising sort. BAZARUTO ISLAND ran a fair post maiden last time when running on. KAPITAN has fair form and could be the big improver of this race. DANCETHEMOONAWAY shows good speed but weakens. Only win was this C & D. LONELY ARETHEBRAVE didn't show in KZN last time. Better in Gauteng.

1st – ONE FINE DAY (1/5 F) (7); 2nd – BAZARUTO ISLAND (2); 3rd – KAPITAN (5); 4th - DANCETHEMOONAWAY (1); 5th – LONELY ARETHEBRAVE (3)

RACE 6

WINTER DARLING drops in class. Has had a short break and should race fresh. SUPER GUPPY has run her best races on sand. Good chance if finding the same form on turf. FOR THE LADS takes a huge drop in class but has not raced for five months and may need a run or two. SCARLET VEIL showed huge improvement last time. may need to confirm but give a chance. PRINCESS OF ICE won her maiden at the fourth attempt last time. That run was six months ago.

1st – WINTER DARLING (9/4 F) (2); 2nd – SUPER GUPPY (7); 3rd – FOR THE LADS (1); 4th - SCARLET VEIL (6); 5th – PRINCESS OF ICE (3)

RACE 7

URGENT FURY is never far back. Could be a surprise winner in an open race. Stayed on last time which was an improved effort. ROYAL DUO got going late in a weak field last time. DON VITO runs well for Piere Strydom and has been showing very good form.. TRIP TO RIO disappointed in his first two starts but put the record straight with a good win at the Vaal last time. Respect. May prefer the Vaal. MAGNUM OPUS was moderate in her post maiden last time. Has something to find to win.

9 SILVER SCOOTER A B 5 53.5 Ormond Ferraris Akash Aucharuz

RACE 8

SOVEREIGN MINT has won his last three. On form, the one to beat. The first of the three wins was this C & D. Has been finishing strongly in each. SABADELL finished 0.75 lengths behind SOVEREIGN MINT last time and is 1 kg better off. Every chance of there being a reversal of the order. MORPHEUS improved with a change of stables and province last time. Not one to ignore. MOGGYTWOSHOES drops in class and also takes on the "boys". SILVER SCOOTER finished well last time. Wears the blinkers this afternoon for the first time.

RACE 9

LEMON TEA takes a huge drop in class. Last time ran in a Grade 1 in KZN. Should go close to winning in this field. SILVA SHAMA is never far back but is inclined to be inconsistent. On her day could be a threat. APPLE TART runs for the third time after a five month break and has been running on. LUCKY HAND also drops in class. Respect. Weakens though. WILL I DO won her maiden at the fifth attempt last time. Has been highly regarded by her connections.

1st – LEMON TEA (4/1 F) (2); 2nd – SILVA SHAMA (5); 3rd – APPLE TART (4); 4th - LUCKY HAND (1); 5th – WILL I DO (8)
