AL DEE KAY makes her debut. Jockey engagement suggests a good effort could be forthcoming. SEVENTH SYMPHONY didn't start well on debut last time but finished well. MEDEA got going late after a slow start on debut last time. ROYAL TRIP weakened on debut last time. Looks to be able to win a few races. PORTRAIT ran on when making her debut last time.

Jockey engagement interesting. TARENTUM may improve with the blinkers on. ANNOUNCETHESECRET makes her debut. Keep an eye on the betting.

PANCHATANTA has run twice for two very good seconds. Should go close again to winning. WILHELMINA will be running on but starts are a bit tardy. ALICE SPRINGS was slow and green on debut last time. Should improve, MADE IN JAPAN makes her debut. Watch the betting on this one, SILVER GODDESS also makes her debut. Watch!

DYNAMITE JIM was moderate on debut on the sand. Did run on late. Prefer on the grass. GANESH will be running on. Has placed this C & D. MASTERLY won his maiden at the fourth attempt last time. Weak field. Chance. DANTE'S LEGACY has been crying out for this distance. Give him a good chance over the 2400m. SHEPHERDS WARNING did run on after a slow start last time.

RACE 6

ORIENTAL BLUE is never far back and finishes well. KINGSTON MINES is another one who is never far back and also runs on late. STYLISH BAY will be running on and has improved. BOY BOY faded final stages of his post maiden last time. THE CLUB KING must be respected on a vastly improved effort last time.

RACE 7

DUE AND PAYABLE won against stronger this C & D last time. Has a chance of repeating. TABREEK makes his Gauteng debut. Two good runs in KZN. Will be finishing well. SOLAR TRIPTYCH must be considered on his improved latest two runs. LOST ISLAND drops in class and showed some improvement last time. KAPELLMEISTER tends to lose ground at the start but finishes well.

RACE 8

LAZER STAR made a winning debut by over five lengths this C & D last time. This will be stronger but consider. NTOMBE has not won for ages but last run in a feature on sand was good. VICTORIA YOUNG last ran in a feature in April. Has only run twice but may need the run. RUN FOR REVELRY has been racing in KZN for a while. Fair form. MISSMASALA was very one-paced last time. Place chance.

RACE 9

ATAAB ran her post maiden after a three month break. Look for further improvement this time around. DANISH ZEALOT has won her last three, two of which have been the C& D. TOMORROW'S MISS won her last two on the sand. Runs well at this track. MYSTIC TIGRESS stayed on last time and is never too far away. SWEETWATER has been losing form in her last two starts.

RACE 10

RAFA has had two steady runs. Finished well in both. BEYOND A DOUBT makes his debut. Keep an eye on the betting. CANNES shows pace but weakens late. CARTER is not the easiest horse to control. Always a threat though. VICTOR'S FOLLY stayed on last time. One to consider for the placings. Never far back.
