PREVIEW: KENILWORTH - 19 NOVEMBER 2014

This race should be a very competitive one and the winner could come from any one of five horses. ULTIMATE DOLLAR has been showing excellent improvement with each run. At 18/1 the trainer/jockey combination of Justin Snaith/Richard Fourie has to be excellent value. Ran on well last time despite a slow start. OVAR ran on strongly on debut last time. TRIPTIQUE finished second in both starts. Made an excellent start in Cape Town last time. On that run the one to beat. TOMBA LA BOMBA did some low level flying late last time when making his debut. The first timer HARRYHOPEITHAPPENS could be anything.

FAT BOTTOM GIRL was pipped on the line when making her debut last time. Should improve with that run. IN THE KNOW appears to be coming back in to form. ASHRAM makes her debut. Keep an eye on the betting. THREE BLUE CRANES looks to have even more improvement on her last run. DANCING ROCKS makes her debut. The betting could be your best guide.

CAPTAIN'S DOVE ran on strongly when making her debut at 25/1 last time. Should improve on that run. HOPE DOWNS has had three good latest runs. Last ran in August. SO SUSPECT has been more consistent in her last two. SWEET SASHA has good recent form but failed to run on last time. BLACK BELVEDERE has decent form and is not out of this one.

SCOTS PARTY did not have the best of starts on his debut last time but still managed a very good finish. Expect an even better run this afternoon. OVIDIO has yet to realise his potential but his second start last time was a far better run. NO RESISTANCE ran his best race in four last time. Can finish closer today. WATERWAYS runs for the thirty ninth time. Has run some places but will have to do something special to win this afternoon. FULL STORM makes his debut. Keep an eye on the betting.

RACE 5

EVENTUAL ANGEL has won four from five starts with a close up second in and amongst that. Won at this track last season and should go close again. First time this far. ACROSTAR has also won well at feature race level and she ran on well to win last time. C & D suited. SHINGWEDZI ran well in KZN and will be running on here as well. STAR JET ran on too late last time. MISS SAIGON won her last two over shorter. Has placed over this C & D.

RACE 6

IN TRIBUTE has run well in his last two against stronger. Can pose a threat. MISTER MATCHETT won very easily last time after a three month break. Has been finishing well in his last two. HEARTLAND ran very well in his post maiden last time after having won on debut by almost ten lengths. IN THE CRUISE has been racing well since winning his maiden four runs back. BLACKMORE won his maiden at the second attempt last time. May need to confirm.

RACE 7

COME FLY WITH ME came with a strong late run to win her maiden over 1000m last time. The extra will suit. CASEY'S JET has steady post maiden form but is battling to win for the second time. MY PRECIOUS has good form, has won this C & D and will be running on. STUDY THE STARS has been finishing well of late despite not having had the best of luck in running. BABY BE MINE drops in class, may place but has disappointing recent form.

RACE 8

EMERALD ALBERT showed good form return when running on well to finish third this C & D. Can follow up on that run. BOSTON CELTIC has fair post maiden form and could still be improving at this level. SEIZE THE THRONE won his maiden at the second attempt last time. May need to confirm but looks to have a few wins to come. DANGEROUS LIAISON is still waiting for that second win but is never far away. JUDDERING ANGEL was running on late last time but more to do for the win.

IMIBALA showed excellent improvement in his second start last time. Ran on really well that day. First run at Kenilworth. THREE BALLOONS also makes his track debut and also made significant improvement last time. BEACH BREAK was a little unlucky last time when racing wide. Got going late. GALAO ran on in his last two. Should have a decent shout. BIG FREEZE has had two fair runs.
