RACE 2:

HOPE DOWNS has been very consistent and she has shown good form this C & D. NATATELA finished behind HOPE DOWNS when they last met. Should finish in the same order this afternoon. MAKE THE MAGNET has had two moderate runs but could begin to improve. CHINAWHITE will have come on from her first run last time. JUST LIKE HONEY has battled. May pick up a small cheque.

RACE 3:

TRACKMASTER showed very good improvement in his last two. Stayed on nicely last time. Has placed this C & D. IMPERIAL GUARD needs to find a more consistent start but was bumped at the start last time. OLIMPIC AIRWAYS will need to repeat debut run two runs back. EXPLORACY showed significant improvement last time but was still a way back. CANADIAN DOLLAR did not show last time. Good form before that though

RACE 4:

EXCLUSIVE KNIGHT  has been consistent but this will be his twenty first run as a maiden. BLUE DOOR may have turned the corner. Las run was much improved. STORM FAERIE has been running on but needs a more sustained finish. DEPENDING ON YOU is inconsistent and will need to repeat penultimate run which was his best in eight runs. MAGICONTHEMOON improved by nine lengths in his second start last time.

RACE 5:

SIMPLY BLACK will benefit from the drop in class. Form is decent and he runs very well this C & D. Stayed on last time. EASTERN FRONT has improved in recent weeks and is also C & D suited. WESTERN FORCE is never far back and should be running on late. TOM STRONG has yet to run a bad race in four but does take on slightly stronger. TAJ AMIR ran a good post maiden last time. May have turned the corner.

RACE 6:

NIGHT IN SEATTLE has yet run out of the first three in seven career starts. Looks set to continue with this trend this afternoon. He was an unlucky loser last time as she cast a shoe. He is inclined to lose ground at the start. PLAYINGTHEENEMY has a chance on the good form that he has. BLACK TOGA has not quite lived up to his earlier promise but with his class can pop up in a race such as this. ALPHA PEGASI should benefit from the step up in distance.

RACE 7:

BABY BE MINE drops in class and should go close if not caught out wide with the widest draw. CASEY'S JET could be coming back to best. SILVANE SPRING was unluckily baulked late last time. Is never far back and could give a good account of herself this afternoon. STUDY THE STARS may place but needs a better finish for the win. DISNEY QUEEN is consistent but she hasn't won in a year.

1st - BABY BE MINE (1); 2nd - CASEY'S JET (9); 3rd - SILVANE SPRING (5); 4th - STUDY THE STARS (6); 5th - DISNEY QUEEN (3)

RACE 8:

FERDINAND THE BULL has been improving and he found a very good finish late last time. Good chance if he repeats that run. He also drops in class. JUDD'S JOY also ran his best race in a while last time. MUSKETS 'N ROSES is never far off them and an apprentice allowance of 4kg will benefit. SUIT OF LIGHTS was hard ridden last time but has been showing improvement. Definite money chance. OCHONCAR. Drops in class. Respect Justin Snaith/Richard Fourie combination.
