Chad Schofield to ride in Durban July

South African-born Australian jockey Chad Schofield took to Twitter to announce that he will returning to his homeland to ride in South Africa's premier race.

Schofield will ride the Australian-bred The Conglomerate in the Gr. 1 Durban July on July 4th

The 21-year-old has been riding in England for the European summer before he takes up his riding contract in Hong Kong.

“Can’t wait to ride in the country I grew up in,” Schofield said on the social media platform.
