SAJA Gauteng Apprentice Recruitment


The South African Jockey Academy (SAJA) will be conducting its first Recruitment Raceday for its 2016 Intake in Gauteng on Sunday 26 July at the National Horseracing Authority Head Office at Turffontein Racecourse from 10h30 to 12h30.
SAJA are looking for potential apprentices who are between the ages of 15 to 20 years old, are between 150 - 160cm tall and weigh between 38 - 47kgs. Any aspiring apprentices based in Gauteng are requested to please attend this Recruitment Raceday, where they will be assessed by the SAJA Biokineticist, Nursing Sister and Riding Master. As all applicants will be assessed for fitness and flexibility they are requested to please wear running shoes and clothes they can exercise in.
Further Recruitment Racedays will be held in other provinces in the following months, with the next scheduled for Greyville Racecourse on Saturday 1 August at 10h30.
