Another field with an abundance of first timers. QUEST D’ORE is another of the SEVENTH ROCK first timers. Same yard and jockey as the first race. ZAAKHIRA is also an Australian first timer. Top yard and exciting young jockey aboard. ROMA AETERNA, stable companion of QUEST D'ORE, also a first timer, to be ridden by winning jockey aboard ABASHIRI on Saturday. CINNAMON WIND is another first timer. Daughter of NOORDHOEK FLYER. Another first timer to consider is GREEK OLIVE who is a daughter of WARM WHITE NIGHT. An interesting race with some well bred juvenile fillies.

ANNOUNCING RAIN made an excellent debut last time when starting at 7/1. Same owners, trainer and jockey as ABASHIRI. Great chance on debut run. ACCUMULATION also made a very good debut last time when unfancied. Was slow but finished well. PIPKIN ran her best race in six last time. Give a chance on that run and with top jockey aboard. IMPERIAL TOPAZ has been backed in all three. Latest effort was below par when reported not striding out. GOLDEN MEMORIES can improve with top young apprentice aboard.

NINE O CLOCK NEWS improved by ten lengths in her second start last time. Top yard. Can go close on that improvement. SIM-ALLEY BANK has been backed in her last two starts. Fourth run and should start improving her form. CHINESE WHISPER has improved marginally since moving from KZN. Third run for new yard. Jockey is riding well at present.PIPPI SHORTSOCK travels this far for the first time. One to consider. BANK THE BILL would have needed her latest run as she was returning from an almost year off. 

RACE 5:

Not an easy race. SPAN DIE SEILE has had two good post maiden runs. Top yard and young jockey. Should go close as she ran on well last time. BAJAN FANTASY has won two from three this C & D. She stayed on well last time. MISSMASALA runs well over this distance. She drops in class and is part of the top yard and jockey partnership. POLAR SECRET was not at her best when returning from a lengthy break last time. The race was too short for her. Can improve. FLYING SILVER has steady post maiden form. Only win was this C & D.

RACE 6:

5-3-1-11-6

DONNY G is unbeaten this C & D (2 from 2). Will be doing his best work late and has a hat trick chance. MASTER’S SPIRIT has not run for four months. Top jockey has the ride. Is capable on his day. SHADOW LINE has raced against stronger. Can give a good account of himself. OCULUS has a chance with a light mass. Ignore latest effort. FLAG OF FRANCE is never too far away.

RACE 7:

NEWS FLASH has not run for six months but was on the upgrade before the break. Can be worth considering. ROCK SOLID is a well bred colt who had two good runs before winning his maiden very easily last time. Two runs this C & D and a win and a second. LAST BATTLE has very good form and has a definite chance, especially over this C & D where he has won four times. ASTRO stayed on for second this C & D last time. One to consider strongly. NIGHT EDITOR is C & D suited and has good recent form.
