PREVIEW: SCOTTSVILLE- 22 JUNE 2016

RACE 1:
TIME TO THINK (9) has had some decent KZN runs. Could improve for. SALSA QUEEN (7) has the best form in the race. INTERCEPT (4) is a VISIONAIRE first time. Top Cape Town jockey aboard. HUNGRY HEART (3) has improved in her last two starts. WINNIESHOB (10)has had a decent run in three and may earn something.
RACE 2:
LUCKY BARB (8) was pipped on the line last time over the same distance. Should go close again. REBEL ROSE (10) has her excuses from last time. JUST VOGUE (5) ran an improved second run last time. Don't ignore CAPTAINS MOLL (1) did not have the best of starts on debut last time. Can make amends. The first timer GENIUS BAR (3) could be worth considering.
RACE 3:
STRUCTURED REPLY (8) made a good debut last time when running on. VICTORY TEAM (9) has had two good runs so far. SHOOT THE BULL (1) must have a chance on an improved latest run this C & D. WISE WHISPER (11) is a SEVENTH ROCK first timer. WINTER IS COMING (10) has been steady in both runs to date.
RACE 4:
AVAST (4) has improved vastly since running on in her last two. Top jockey aboard. Go close. ROY'S MONKEY (2) will benefit from an apprentice claim of 4 kg. Will be finishing well. ENLIGHTENMENT (1) should be watched. Last two runs vastly improved. ABBEY CHASE (3) showed improvement last time. Can confirm. HIT IT RUNNING (5) improved from nowhere last time. Watch!
RACE 5:
BELARUS (3) has been improving. Finished well last time. Is a big runner. ENTICER (2) has been ultra-consistent. The main danger. Watch with the blinkers for the first time. PLACID SEA (5) is never too far back. MY MISHPOCHA (10) needs to be considered a serious runner on improved latest run. The type to cause an upset. Ignore the latest run of STREETS OF GOLD (7).
RACE 6:
ADORADA (1) finished down the field in a Grade 1 last time. She is way better than that run and expect to he a good race from her this afternoon. Yard and jockey in excellent KZN form. SUPREME DYNASTY (4) is recapturing the form that has eluded her for some time now. Will also be suited to the extra distance. TENDER TRIP (6) can run into the money. Yard in very good KZN form. MUSIC WORLD (5) won her last two. Can place against stronger along with The two Cape Town runners, GREY LIGHT (2) and SPEEDY CHESTNUT (3) cannot be ignored.
RACE 7:
SMART MART (1) has been racing against much stronger. Yard in KZN has come back to form. Top yard and has top jockey aboard. The one to beat. TRIPLE BEAT (4) has improved in KZN despite being slow away. ROYAL UNION JET (5) will be staying on. Definite money opportunity. BIG SI (11) has been knocking on the door. GOOD IDEA (9) has been improving. needs to stay on late though.
RACE 8:
EXTREME DUBAI (6) looks the one to beat. This three year old has very good form and ran on well last time. Biggest threat could come from stable companion, MASTER'S SPIRIT (2). Both from an inform yard with two top jockeys aboard. REGARDSTOBROADWAY (8) reverts to running without blinkers today. Was unlucky last time but is C & D suited. SWAKOPMUND (5) can improve if breaking on terms. Top yard. BENGAL BOY (3) can find a placing at best.
BEST BET: RACE 2 NUMBER 8 LUCKY BARB
BEST VALUE: RACE 1 NUMBER 9 TIME TO THINK
BEST OUTSIDER: RACE 3 NUMBER 8 STRUCTURED REPLY
