PREVIEW: FAIRVIEW (TURF) - 29 JULY 2016

RACE 1:

SAIL THE STORM (9) disappointed last time after a  good debut the run before. Watch for improvement. TIMEDTOPERFECTION (11) is inconsistent but ran on well last time.LATENITEFEVER (3) is improving slowly. MUSTANG BOY (4) was nabbed on the line last time. BELLA ISLE (6) is a SAIL FROM SEATTLE first timer.

RACE 2:

CRUZCAMPO (4) was well rewarded with a good win last time. Runs on really well. REBEL HOUSE (10) weakens late but still could have a say. BLACK TOGA (1) has a good chance if repeating win last time. SPACE LAUNCH (3) is most effective over this distance. HAPPY LION (5) will be running on.

RACE 3:

EMERALD ISLAND (1) has been improving. Second run in PE. Must go close. GIMME THE STARS (10) has had two fair runs. Will improve. RUSSIAN ARCHER (4) may improve with the blinkers. ORACLE (5) has shown nothing so suggest he could win but he could surprise. OSWEGO (12) must not be ignored in any bets.

RACE 4:

LOOKAMEE (4) must have a smart chance on an improved run last time. ANOTHER NIGHT (12) will be running on and should go close. VINTAGE WINE (7) is knocking on the door. LINDELIZE (1) will improve on debut PE run last time. Distance seems to be best. LIMPOPO RIVE (2) needs a better finish. 

RACE 5:

KALAHARI QUEEN (15) has been improving and could win. THEMLA (7) ran a very good post maiden last time. Will be running on. OYSTER NUT (5) should not be too far away. GRAND JURY (1) may improve in PE. UNCONDITIONAL (11) will be running on.

RACE 6:

RAHVAR (7) has the form to win again. First time this far. KING OF CHAOS (8) has the form to challenge. SEATTLE SWING (10) ran on well last time and is C & D suited. GLOBAL EXPRESS (9) needs a more sustained finish. ORCHESTRATED (4) ran on well to win the C & D last time. Can repeat.

RACE 7:

ACAPULCO (3) has improved in his last two. CARDINAL (1) has been running well. Can fight this one out. ATSO TIME (9) is inconsistent but on his day can win. FULL REGALIA (11) will be running on and has won once this C & D. Ignore the latest run of  ZEVENASTIC (12). Form is way better than that.

RACE 8:

SORBONNE (9) can improve on recent two starts. WOLVERINA (1) lacks consistency but loves the distance. NATURAL TAN (4) is never far back. Had excuses last time. KILLALA (11) won her  maiden at the sixth attempt last time. Won well. Takes on older. LECTURE'S LUCK (12) has improved of late.

RACE 9:

FOLK LAW (5) won well last time. Can repeat if repeating. SEVENTH CIRCLE (6) has decent form but could be better on the polytrack. BESOTTED (12) won on debut last time. Will prefer the extra distance. BRIDA (8) was unlucky in running last time. BLACK JADE (13) also needs a form return.

 BEST BET: RACE 9 NUMBER 5 FOLK LAW

BEST VALUE: RACE 6 NUMBER 7 RAHVAR

BEST OUTSIDER: RACE 8 NUMBER 9 SORBONNE
