Flamingo Park Monday October 24th

 Race 1

#3 GiveUWings: Has finished the runner up in both of his runs at Flamingo Park since relocating to the Northern Cape from Natal in September. His wide draw should not be a concern, and the fact that top jockey Muzi Yeni has opted to retain the ride for the Coerie Lensley yard is most encouraging.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #5 Dragon's Den, #1 Global Nomad, #2 Gold Chest

Inc: 6,8,11

Race 2

#4 Toll Free: Won a very well last time out, she is a very responsive individual who can put a race to bed in a matter of strides. She is a smart two time winner, and this filly has strong claims of following up under promising young rider Matthew Thackeray who climbs aboard her for trainer Stephanie Miller.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #7 Fannalies Girl, #5 Busy Peg, #1 Over Achiever

Inc: 2,6,8

Race 3

#7 Trevi Fountain: Had to settle for the second in her most recent race, this filly appears to be improving and will be very competitive if she can reproduce her last run which came over this course and distance. Jockey Randall Simons takes the ride for the Von Willingh stable.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #11 Sunset Boulevard, #1 L'Attitude, #6 Green Report

Inc: 3,4,5,9

Race 4

#4 Dodgey Dutchie: Produced a promising performance, when finishing the runner up in his last visit to the racetrack over this course and distance. He could prove to be very tough to beat under decent apprentice Calvin Ngcobo (- 1.5 kg) if he reproduces his last run, and conditioner Phillip Smith will be hoping that his gelding who will more than likely jump as favourite can produce the goods.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #3 Petiscos Chook, #1 Flying Mr P, #6 Attract The Crowd

Inc: 2

Race 5

#7 Teagan's Boy: Finished the runner up in his most recent race, he appears to be finding his feet again and would be a very deserving winner, he is drawn well and will benefit from the experience of Muzi Yeni who is one of the top riders around. The gelding will be saddled by the Coerie Lensley yard who's runners are more often than not very competitive.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #4 Premier Chance, #3 Big Shot, #10 Secunde's Victor

Inc: 1,6,8

Race 6

#5 Groovy News: Is in outstanding form at the minute, having won two of his last 3 races. Even though he tries a trip well short of his ideal distance, he is a classy individual and his ability as well as the services of the ever skilful young rider Craig Zackey could see him cross the winning post with the field behind him, trainer Jannie Borman is responsible for the geldings conditioning.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #2 Master Barry, #3 Autumn Encore, #6 Morrie

Inc: 1,4,7

Race 7

#6 Harrison: Ran a fair race in his latest performance, he was by no means disgraced on that ocassion and will be a lively contender in this contest if he can reproduce his penultimate effort. Tough jockey Marco VanRensburg will be in the irons for the Cliffie Miller stable.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #4 Ford Country, #8 Excalivar, #10 Elegant Gent

Inc: 1

Race 8

#12 Long Walk: Produced an honest effort in his last start, when running third over six furlongs. He now drops back to the minimum trip of 1000m, and he should have no problems in doing so. Hard trying jockey Marco Van Rensburg steps up for trainer Cliffie Miller.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #8 Edgbaston, #4 On The Right Path, #12 Sir Cecil

Inc: 5,6

Race 9

#3 White Feather: Scored over seven furlongs in her last outing, she has found some consistency and should one again be in the mix despite dropping down to 1200 meters. Dedicated jockey Fanie Chambers will do duty for conditioner Bill Human.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #5 Antarctica, #6 Narnia, #9 Rasta's Jet

Inc: 1,2,7

Best Bets: GiveUWings, Dodgey Dutchie, Harrison
