Snowdance Leads Them A Merry Dance

Christmas came early for Snaith and Fayd’Herbe as Snowdance smashed the talented Cape Fillies Guineas, Grade 1 field at Kenilworth in Cape Town.

The Drakenstein and Mitchell owned Captain Al filly is something special as she ran riot in the final 400m of the Fillies Guineas and strode clear past a fading front runner, Lanark. She kicked clear with a sustained effort from two furlongs out and won as she liked in as an impressive effort as seen in this race. One time winner Oh Susanna came out the pack to finish second from Fresnaye and then Grade 1 winner Lady In Black further back.

The three year old fillies really sorted themselves out in this renewal with this standout performance.

Justin Snaith's stable is in cracking form with 4 race wins up to this event on the day and it showed in his excellent conditioning of both his first and second placed runners.
