No Local Racing On Sunday

The race meeting scheduled for Scottsville on Sunday HAS been postponed to Wednesday. The existing Wednesday Greyville fixture will be moved to Friday.

A notice on the Gold Circle Facebook page reads: “Following 10mm of rain & steady rain at the moment coupled with road closures at Hammarsdale, SCOTTSVILLE Sunday 15 July meeting has been postponed to Wednesday 18 July and GREYVILLE Wednesday 18 July moved to Friday night 20 July.”

There were earlier reports, including on Tellytrack, that the meeting was postponed, followed by denials that a decision had been taken. The Gold Circle statement clears up the confusion: The meeting HAS been postponed.
