MUZI YENI rides his 1000th winner at Flamingo Park

Likeable jockey, Muzi Yeni won three races at Flamingo Park in Kimberley today, Monday, 9 November 2015, to sail past his 1000th career winner. A graduate of the Summerveld Jockey Academy, Muzi rode his first ever winner when he rode STORM KING for the Mike De Kock yard at Clairwood over 2400m.

Durban born, he now lives close to King Shaka International Airport, for obvious reasons. Interestingly he graduated from the Academy along with Raymond Danielson, Richard Fourie and Champion Jockey for last season, Gavin Lerena

His first winner at Flamingo Park today was aboard BANDSMAKEHERDANCE in the third race. His 1000th winner came in the fifth race when her rode MASTER BARRY. Both winners were for the C J Lensley yard. His third winner came in the very next race, also for the Lensley yard.
