The South Africa app
The new dedicated Betway South Africa app launches this month and already has a wide range of sports available with more to come – in particular, horse racing from around the world. At the launch point, one of the most popular sports available through the app is the football (or soccer, if you like) which includes international games as well as big national leagues such as the English Premier League and the Spanish La Liga. It also includes regional competitions and teams for people to bet on their local team.

As well as the range of competitions, there is also a large range of bets that players can place on their favourite team through the app. Classic markets such as the match results and the half time result are available as well as total goals, correct score and specific markets such as clean sheet for the home or away team. This allows players to narrow down their exact prediction for a match and bet accordingly.

Other sports available
While football is definitely one of the most popular sports to bet on around the world, there are other sports available through the app for fans. Rugby is a huge sport in South Africa, as is cricket and the new Betway app allows betting on both of these. The rugby area involves both Rugby Union and Rugby League competitions including the Super Rugby league and the European Challenge Cup.

The cricket area involves three main markets – England, India and International. The international features the current competitions taking place between nations while the Indian Premier League is a popular tournament around the world. For the England market, players can bet on both groups of the ECB 50 One Day Cup competition.
Betting on tennis allows you to place money on your favourite player in the tournaments currently taking place around the world for both the women’s and the men’s game. The same also applies to golf with betting available on both women’s and men’s competitions. Finally, the app even allows betting on Basketball, with competitions and internationals from around the world.

The Betway app represents a high-quality app that is secure for users and offers a great range of markets to enjoy a bet. With new additions coming such as horse racing and the option to already try in-play betting, the app covers all the main sports betting options.
