Sean Tarry Racing brought up their 2000th winners as Flash Burn won a maiden at the twilight meeting in Johannesburg.
Tarry was two winners away from the landmark and had his two winners on the card to hit the home run.
He said post race, "Nice to raise the bat for 2000 and there's only half a dozen that have done it."
The meeting at Turffontein was moved from Saturday to Sunday due to heavy rainfall in Johannesburg over the past week which resultes in numerous abandoned racemeetings.
Today's card had a full ten races and included smart wins from the Derby entrant Protea Paradise and also smart performances from two fellow De Kock inmates, the juvenile first timer Gin Fizz and the well weighted Greener Pastures.
