Contrail Stud Fee set at USD 106k

Contrail, the ultimate Japanese Racehorse and arguably even better than his sire, Deep Impact, has had his first year stud fee set at ¥12mil (US$ 106k).

The Shadai Stallion Station will be his home for his stud career and like his sire, he will surely he sort after. He stands for the same fee that Deep Impact stood for in his first year in 2007.

Same amount DEEP IMPACT stood his first season for in 2007.

He ranks as Shadai's joint third most expensive stallion after EPIPHANEIA (¥18mil) and Almond Eye's sire, LORD KANALOA (¥15mil)

CONTRAIL's life time record included 11 starts for 8 wins 2 seconds and a third for ¥1,195,294,000 earnings. It's an amazing career. He won the Japanese Triple Crown and Japan Cup to retire a star.
