SARAABA has some good form but was bumped at the start which could have hampered her chances. First run in KZN. PERFUME GIRL was slow on debut last time. Watch for improvement second time around. CYCLONE SASSY has had two good runs and should feature at the finish line. GORDON'S CUNGEE stayed on last time when making good improvement in her second start last time. SIMLA is inconsistent but can fill a minor placing.

RACE 2:

MASTER OF MISCHIEF ran on well last time in his third career start. That was his best run by quite a distance. Should contest the finish. MUSTANG SONNY should improve on a good debut last time even though he raced green and wide into the straight last time. SPIRIT OF DOVER is never far back but can never string two good runs back to back. COLONEL BLING needs to repeat some of his earlier form. JULLIDAR is not reliable but may place at best.

RACE 3:

On the evidence of her last two runs, PRINCESS VARUNYA, must have a very good chance of recording her first win this afternoon. Jockey Anthony Delpech would enhance her chances. THANDA ran on well late in an improved latest run. Best run in eight. GOLDEN EARRINGS has shown vast improvement in her last three starts and should challenge. Watch for improvement from ELEVEN who was far from disgraced on her debut last time. QUEEN DELTA is not out of it and she can find a minor placing.

RACE 4:

MUSUCHELALOMISSUS may be difficult to spell but he could be easier to follow for each/way bets in this race. He has been rested for over two months and looks likely to race fresh and pose a real challenge. GREY'S A ROCKIN has had seven good runs from seven starts. He has had a few minor issues but expect a good run from him this afternoon. DESERT SUNSET showed improvement last time despite being bumped at the start. KAHAYLAAN has yet to show but should begin to find his feet soon. TOWNSHIP TALK had his excuses from his last effort but should contest the minor money finishes.

RACE 5:

PIONEER SPIRIT ran his best post maiden run last time when running on after a slow start. Latest run was this C & D. He must have a good chance. DOWN UNDER is never far back. His record proves that: one win and five seconds in nine starts. Should go close again. Drops in class. BARACAH also drops in class and has shown improvement since plying his trade in KZN. JET AVENGER also drops in class but is inclined to be inconsistent.Respect yard and jockey. MAMBO MASTER tried hard last time and has to have a chance of earning something.

RACE 6:

SABAHA has been rested for three months. She has won three races from five starts and an impressive three from four at this track with one win this C & D. This daughter of DYNASTY will be finishing well. Should be worth following. MISS ARGENTINA loses ground at the start on a regular basis. She will have a chance if she breaks on terms this afternoon. Has had some decent runs though. QUEEN'S ADVANCE finished well last time and runs well for jockey Ian Sturgeon. MISSMASALA has been running well although she never showed when racing over this C & D last time. TIME MARCHES ON had excuses last time. Can earn something.

RACE 7:

CLASS ACT drops in class and ran a cracker last time. Was unlucky last time and could make emends this afternoon. RASTA'S JET stayed on in her post maiden last time. Had decent form before her maiden win two runs back. Apprentice claim of 4 kg to help. FIERY GODDESS weakens but she should not be too far away in this field. STORMY CAT has her issues but she is never too far away and could earn a minor money cheque. FADE TO GREY had to switch last time. May improve.

RACE 8:

WHAT A BOYTJIE did some low level flying in his last two starts which were his first two at this track. On those two finishes he could go close in the last of the afternoon. BOLD ATTITUDE finishes well and has been running well for jockey Anthony Delpech. Stays on well. Definite chance. PURE VALOR won well against similar last time when starting at 16/1. That win was at Greyville on the polytrack over the same distance. Both wins have been over the same trip. Could repeat. FANTASY ART has been improving and has also been finishing well. ZE TZAR is never far back but watch for a stealth-like finish. Has been enjoying his stay in KZN.
