Silvano Colt Could Be A Superstar

Like any other sport, racing is a game that needs its superstars and a Silvano colt by the name of Al Sahem is doing his part for the sport of kings in the South Africa.

He was an impressive winner of his maiden on debut just 12 days ago and he backed up that brilliant performance by defeating a field of hard knocking handicappers in only his second start with consummate ease under jockey S'manga Khumalo for trainer Sean Tarry, this afternoon over 1600m at Turffontein. Al Sahem looks like a horse who is going places, this colt is a true professional, he comes to the racetrack and does what is expected of him and a little bit more, Al Sahem is an exciting prospect, he is extremely well bred and very talented to boot, he is a horse who will pay to follow in the future.

This colt is of course sired by none other than Silvano (GER) who has produced a countless amount of stakes horses while at stud in South Africa. His dam is the Al Mufti (USA) mare Alderry, she won the Grade 2 November Handicap over a mile, but she was placed up to ten furlongs, which would indicate that Al Sahem could very well get a trip in time to come. Al Sahem is owned by Al Adiyaat South Africa (Pty) Ltd who also bred him, and he runs in the colours of Sheik Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum.
