The Gujadhur Stable, one of Mauritius' most iconic racing operations, has unveiled its full roster for the 2025 season, adding to the earlier announcement of Allez Moris and Join The Dots. Thirteen additional horses will represent the famous light blue silks with the red sash and cap. This lineup showcases a mix of emerging talent and experienced campaigners, setting high expectations for the upcoming season.
Among the standout entries is Itsrainingwilliam, a seasoned 5-year-old with a stellar Merit Rating of 108. His résumé includes a Group 3 victory and battles against some of South Africa’s finest, including Royal Aussie, Dave The King, Rascillion, and Silver Operator. He’s proven to be a force over various distances and will undoubtedly be a major player this season. Meanwhile, Zil Moris, with two Group 3 placings to his name, is another to watch. At 4 years old, his Merit Rating of 100 reflects his consistency and ability to rise to the occasion.
On the younger side, Courtly (Merit Rating 82) and Paved With Gold (Merit Rating 74) have yet to break through but have shown flashes of potential. Their records suggest they could blossom with the right opportunities this season. Similarly, the filly Wugug, who boasts two wins over 1400 meters and a Merit Rating of 79, adds versatility to the stable's arsenal.
This diverse team reflects the Gujadhur family’s enduring commitment to excellence. With proven performers like The Mauritian (MR 100) and up-and-comers such as River Hawk (MR 81), they’ve built a roster that balances experience with potential.
